Made with Chiltepins, a hot chile that grows wild in the Sonoran desert. Chilpetins deliver a punctuated heat that loosens muscles and blocks pain receptors. Rub it on anything that hurts -- except for sensitive mucous membranes!
In addition to a reputation as pain-relievers, chiles promote tissue repair, serve as styptics (able to stop bleeding), and also as rubifacients ( a healing counter-irritant).
The garnet red color of the Chiltepin-infused olive oil is lost when combined with the green-ness of the other herb-infused oils in this formula: pain-relieving Arnica and Meadowsweet, anti-spasmotic Crampbark, and nerve-healing Prickly Ash. Essential oil of Peppermint provides a cooling, relaxing fragrance.
